CNC Academy – Heidenhain control

The training center in Raciborz provides training for CNC operators and programmers in Heidenhain TNC 620, TNC 640 and iTNC530 controls. Open trainings are carried out according to the schedule, closed trainings are dedicated to the company’s customers who own TBI machine tools and can be modified according to their needs.

A characteristic of our courses is that each participant has an individual workstation with actual controls, and the training center is equipped with a TBI VC 3-axis machining center and teaching aids: probes, dial gauges, cutting tools, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauge blocks.

TBI Technology’s workstations are designed to replicate a machine tool control panel as closely as possible. Thanks to such solutions, the user has the opportunity to work realistically on a Heidenhain TNC control – something that would not be fully possible on a CNC simulator. 7 Loading and editing of ready-made NC programs. Verify the correct operation of the edited machining program by means of simulation. Execution of a sample item on the basis of the entrusted NC program. Practice - machine hall

Meet
our
trainers

Andrzej Bętkowski

Expert in training and implementation – he has been with TBI Technology since 2010. He began his career in technology in 1987 at the RAFAKO Racibor Boiler Factory, where he earned the title of Technician. It was there that he first encountered CNC milling machines. He has special knowledge of mechanical engineering and operation and machining.

He has educated hundreds of operators in CNC machine and process operation, as well as maintenance and service personnel. He conducts training on milling machines, lathes, boring machines equipped with Heidenhain iTNC530, Heidenhain TNC620, Heidenhain TNC640, Sinumerik 828, Sinumerik 840, FANUC Oi series, 16i, 18i, 21i, 30i and FAGOR controls. He also teaches courses in interactive programming using Manual Guide, ShopTurn, ShopMill.

Dr. Eng. Piotr Kiszka

By profession, he is a machining technologist and CNC machine programmer. His professional interests include programming CNC machines using CAD/CAM software, creating and implementing post-processors, and developing parametric programs for CNC machine tools.

His professional work also includes training in the operation and programming of CNC machine tools with Heidenhain iTNC530, Heidenhain TNC620, Heidenhain TNC640, Sinumerik 828, Sinumerik 840 controls. It also deals with monitoring as well as optimization of the cutting process.

He is the author of several publications on the machinability of structural materials and heat dissipation in the cutting process. He has presented his research results at Polish as well as international scientific conferences.

He is co-author of the book titled: “Programming of CNC machine tools”, published by PWN publishing house in 2020.
